About Jason Holm

So you found me, now what?  Are you looking to get more information about me?  Here are a few things that I hope you'll find helpful in deciding whether or not I would be a good fit for you as a Realtor.

I grew up in the Denver Metro area and relocated to Grand Junction in October of 1994.  I was relocated to Grand Junction as an Assistant Store Manager with Target where I had been working in the Denver area.  After about 8 years with Target I was contacted by a head hunter for Office Depot who was looking for a Store Manager.  I made the move in 1996 and ran the local Office Depot Store until 2006 when I left the world of retail and decided to pursue my real passion of real estate.  I appreciated all of the time I had worked in retail and feel it has helped me to develop skills I can use today.

I became interested in real estate in 2000 when my wife and I began investing in real estate.  We purchased our first investment home which was a real fixer. With a lot of sweat equity we became landlords.  We rented out our first house in the spring of 2000 and the rest as they say is history.  The real estate market in the valley was still in an economic recovery and we were able to continue to purchase homes.  Through the years my passion for real estate grew.  I knew the upside of investing in real estate, whether as just a home owner or someone who is interested in creating true wealth.  I decided to take my skills and knowledge to help other people realize the advantage of home ownership.  It was a fantastic move that I do not regret.

Through my years in Real Estate I have had the opportunity to represent a variety of buyers, sellers, & investors in both residential and commercial transactions.  I have worked directly with a builder and have experience in selling new homes.  On the flip side, I worked with Fannie Mae for several years selling hundreds of foreclosed homes in the valley.  Through my experience in Real Estate and my commitment to continuing education I have received my Council of Residential Specialists, CRS, designation.  I have also earned my Certified Negotiation Expert, CNE, designation.  My experience in the local market, my education, and my expertise as a real estate investor helps me provide my clients the tools they need to get the deal done.

I have been married to my wife since 1999.  We have two sons Ian and Kaleb.  I have been actively involved as a Rotarian in The Grand Junction Rotary Club since 2012.  I am a pat board member for Rotary and am a Paul Harris Fellow.  I served as President of the Grand Junction Hockey Club and worked as a hockey coach for 5 seasons.  I was also a board member for Ice Skating Incorporated.  I was also an active soccer coach for several years.  Family is key and there is no greater joy than watching your kids grow up to be fantastic adults.

Working with someone who is more than just a Realtor is important.  In a market with lots of noise, choose someone who understands the market and what it takes to be successful year after year.  I'd love to help you find success in whatever your real estate needs are.
